The inspection by Hallmark turned up issues that were not found by another roofing contractor. Hallmark completed the repairs, replaced skylights and recoated the roof in a very professional manner. I did point out to the workmen where I thought a leak had occurred. They were very attentive to my suggestions and paid special attention to my area of concern. Hallmark was very price competitive for the amount of work that needed to be done. A supervisor came out the next day and inspected the work to make sure it was done properly. There were no leaks that I could appreciate after the most recent limited rainfall. Overall, I was very satisfied with the experience and dealing with Hallmark roofing. ~ Donald S

Had my roof coated and partially replaced by Hallmark in spring of 2019. I received multiple bids and they weren't the absolute least expensive, but were very close. Their quote was the most comprehensive, though, so I felt pretty comfortable having them do the work. They got the work done promptly and when I walked the roof a couple days later I found a few cosmetic issues that could've turned into bigger issues down the road. I took pictures and emailed them and they were out within a couple days to fix it. I'm now sitting in my house listening to the rain pattering on my roof and feel pretty confident in the quality of the work done. I would recommend them to anyone looking for roofing work. ~ Bill D

Hallmark Roofing was retained by the buyers of my home to evaluate the roof. Don Nelson of Hallmark did an onsite inspection of the concrete roof tiles and was thorough and knowledgeable, especially about the current availability of the same color tile after almost 25 years. He inspected the full perimeter of the roof. He found and provided photographs of some slipped tiles that needed to be reattached and some broken ones that needed replacement. He also provided an estimate for the repairs, which was reasonable. The work was done as promptly as could be thereafter. The roofers themselves were pleasant and respectful and did all of the necessary work. Overall the experience was easy and productive, The personnel are all quite competent and trustworthy. I would surely contact Hallmark first if I needed roofing work. ~ Robert K

2020: I used Hallmark a second time, to coat, etc the roof on my residence, and the experience was just as good. And they are contact-less so no risk of virus transmission. It can take a while to come up on the schedule, so don't hesitate. 2019: Hallmark was great from beginning to completion. Their proposal was detailed and clear and included photos. Their price was very reasonable compared to others. Once I decided to use them the communication was also detailed and clear. They had a lot of work lined up but were able to move my job up so it got done by the time my house was listed for sale. Receptionist was very personable, informative and helpful. Work was done quickly and well – with a clear warranty on the invoice. ~ Joan C

We had Don come out to do a pre-purchase inspection on the 15 year old home we ended up buying. We got a thorough report detailing issues with the sloped tile and flat portions of the roof (he walked me around and showed me the issues and discussed remedies) and a very reasonable quote to make the (mostly minor) repairs, which the buyers agreed to cover. Scheduling the work was easy, and less than 2 weeks later the job was completed - on time, on budget and on schedule. Everyone we dealt with - both the office people and the roofers - were pleasant and professional. Job site cleanup was excellent. I would recommend Hallmark without reservations. ~ Ed F

Few months ago, my husband and I sold our rental home. We were so happy Hallmark Roofing was able to take care of the items that the home inspection mention in the report. Within few days of contacting them they gave us their free, thorough estimate with photographs of areas needing repairs and they were able to have the job done before closing as promised. Hallmark roofing took care of our roof in a timely manner, meeting deadlines even in a rainy season. Their estimate beat the competition’s by 30%. I understand they work a lot with real estate transactions and they are the preferred roofing company for many realtors in town. They also take care of preventative inspections and regular maintenance and repairs of roofs. We didn’t have a trusted roofing company until the first time we needed one, now we would definitely recommend Hallmark Roofing to anyone in need. ~ Lucia C

Contacted Hallmark Roofing after seeing them referred on Next Door App. Needed some minor roof trim/fascia work done. They were very busy so it took a bit of time to get me on the schedule but it wasn’t an urgent matter. I had contacted two other places and they were the only ones that actually included information for an entire roof inspection and not just the specific area. Work completed and a followup inspection was done. It was found one area of work was not completed correctly the first time and they immediately had people back out within a few days and got the correct work done. I got to know Dan Hall by phone and email before I even owned a house in Tucson. He didn't know it, but I relied on his insights when negotiating the purchase of our home here. I was so impressed with him that I hired Hallmark Roofing to perform regular maintenance on the roof of our new home and later to repair the roof after we removed an evaporative cooler from the roof and installed a new, packaged Furnace/AC unit up there. Dan's crews are some of the friendliest and most professional I've encountered here in Tucson, and Dan's office staff has always been quick to respond to inquiries. Hallmark Roofing did an excellent job on our house. Their estimate was competitive and the scheduling was efficient. The roofers were courteous and took the time to answer my questions. The roofers were prompt, and did everything that was contracted for and were very neat and cleaned up afterwards. I had several estimates. Two companies said I needed a complete new roof with out lifting a tile. Hallmark and another company said we only needed repair and showed me why I didn't need a whole new roof and they have a reputation for standing behind their work. I would use them again. ~ Jack A

I am currently selling my house. Hallmark Roofing did a quote to repair some broken clay tiles on my roof and replace a terrible eye sore of rotted fascia wood in the front of my house. Not only were their rates much better than what I had previously received, they also expedited the scheduling of the job to ensure my house would be able to make the closing date. Not sure what is up with the negative reviews. We've used Hallmark several times and they did an incredible job. Very thorough and professional. They use a handheld thermal sensor which costs extra but worth it since it detects moisture in the walls. Hallmark fixed our roof when we initially purchased our home in 2012 and came out this year to fix a leak in our kitchen. Problems fixed and verified after this year's bad monsoon. At the time of repair, Hallmark noticed a wet spot in our baseboard and ran the scan. They repaired a separate area for no extra charge that the builders didn't originally do correctly. Subsequently we called them out for possible warranty coverage and they came out and found the source of the leak in our baseboard was the result of cracks in the outside plaster area around the window, and not the roof. Hallmark even showed me where to repair on my own. This company is very professional and they don't cut corners. I watched all repairs being done. ~ Seiji H

Hallmark Roofing was very easy to work with. They were there immediately to inspect. I received the repair information and cost immediately. Scheduled and they were at our home as promised. But it was also the professionalism of the office girls I worked with. The guys that came out to do the repairs wore their masks even outside ... they were friendly ... they did their job clearing up any and all debris and then they were gone. Like most people, I didn't know that I had a leak until monsoon season. I found Hallmark Roofing through the Nextdoor app where they had about two dozen positive reviews and even better, not one negative one. All of the scheduling was easy, and all of their team members were punctual. (Which everyone knows is half the battle!) Inspections and repairs were made thoroughly and without the up-sell of unnecessary work. Hallmark Roofing would be my first recommendation to friends and neighbors for roof repairs. ~ Keith L

I used Hallmark Roofing for an inspection on a house I was buying in Tucson. My realtor recommended them to me as I am not from the Tucson area and asked for help with the inspection. They came out promptly, did the inspection and left me with a list of needed maintenance and an estimate for the repairs. When I made the appt, they came out on time, did the repairs and invoiced me for exactly the amount of the estimate. I would use them again for yearly roof maintenance. Hallmark's inspectors, estimators, roofers and office staff have all played a key role in providing excellent service. Appointments for inspections are always on time. The annual inspection report is through, complete and includes photos of any trouble areas of the roof. This is a professionally run company. The service is fantastic and the price is very fair. I have used Hallmark Roofing for 15+ years for general roof health inspections. They have always been very responsive, prompt, and courteous. What I value most from them has been their honesty and reasonable prices. If no repairs are needed, they say that. We have our roof inspected about every 2-3 years, and in that time, the roof has only needed three minor repairs. This is my third experience with Hallmark Roofing. Each has been great. This time I needed a resurface only on a flat roof for a patio home in the foothills. There was a quote by the seller that it needed a new roof. This is a flat roof. By having Hallmark re check the roof, it was determined that it just needed patches and a resurface of elastomer. Hallmark came out looked at the roof and by the next day I had the estimate which was very fair. The men that came out to do the roof introduced themselves and told me what they were doing. This is the 2nd time I've used Hallmark roofing (first was for our house inspection). The crew was very helpful in explaining what was going to be done to fix a section of the roof that was leaking. They pulled up the tiles, reinstalled the underlayment and filled in areas with mortar to prevent further leaks. They also did a great job of re-coating our patio cover and cleaned up afterwards.
